I love all things insurance.
Shortly after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in computers, I decided sitting in an office writing code all day wasn't something that appealed to me. I am more of a people person so I put my degree on the back burner and forged out into the world to find my calling.
For a while I was a high school math teacher and I truly enjoyed teaching. It was a wonderful experience and very fulfilling. Unfortunately, however, with my new growing family, I found it financially difficult to continue. So again, I forged on.
Years later I was called by my best friend’s sister who owned an insurance agency. She asked if I wanted a job and although I had tried my hand at traditional sales jobs in the past, and was a little leery, I was up for the challenge. That is when I found my true passion. My love and my calling was in insurance.
I have been an Account Manager, a Performance Manager, and a Producer. I have handled claims, coverage issues, marketing, and yes, from time to time, computer issues. I truly appreciate the art of learning and challenging my mind, but I also enjoy sharing my knowledge and affection for all things insurance.
